Ewha Womens' University (in Ewha) and Cat's Attic in Hongdae - Day 4 - Korea 2014

Who even has time to post when exams are right around the corner and you still haven't touched two units...

But this is really a photo drop because there's not heaps to say. 

We dropped by Ewha Womens' University and they have a crazy amount of steps. The architecture is really pretty, but it must be so tiring if you have to walk up and down so much every day. Plus, it's a womens' university..

This was a really good shopping area and it was really busy - I think it was a Saturday as well. There were so many little side streets with more shops - but we didn't get to check them all out. There were also many street vendors so we ate a lot as we walked - but I forgot to take photos. Too busy eating and holding bags haha.

Who can argue that I don't wear colour sometimes!

A while later, we finally moved on to Hongdae to try to find the cat cafe. Jenny had chosen this specific cat cafe because they had a sphynx cat - however it wasn't there when we went. 

Upon entering the cafe, you must swap your shoes with a pair of slippers (in the foyer area) and read over the list of rules. You purchase a drink, around 7,000 won which doubles as your entrance fee, and then you can stay for as long as you like. You are also able to buy cat treats to tempt the cats over to you. We went at night and it wasn't too busy, however most of the cats were sleeping.

This cat was sleeping so peacefully, but this couple came in a while after us and the girl went over and started touching this cat. Made the cat all grumpy for the rest of the time urgh. You have to remember, that not all the cats will want to play with you. 

This pile of fluff was very rudely pushed off the chair by one of the employees. She just lifted up the chair and let the cat slide off! She musn't have liked this cat, because for one of the other cats - she picked it off the chair and held it.

I think this is the pile of fluff, awake. Maybe.

BUT THEN FUCKING TEASE YOU BY PUTTING THEIR PAW OUT AND PULLING IT AWAY EVERYTIME YOU MOVE TO PET IT. EVERY TIME.

Directions: Get to Hongsik University Station on Line 2 (the green one!) and head out of Exit 9. Turn left immediately and then take the first right. Look out for the pink cat sign on your right!
