'Schoolies' Part 1 - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

After copious planning, I, along with three friends; Xin (xxx), Lucie and Nicole, traveled to Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong for our after-exam holiday (I suppose you could call it as it was not a traditional schoolies).
The next few following posts will also contain details on the trip.

So we arrived at Melbourne Tullamarine International Airport at about 10pm on Tuesday the 19th of November. Our flight left at 12:45am the next day, and we arrived in KL at about 6:30am local time (3 hours back). Being the type of person to make the best of things, I watched Pacific Rim, 냵ꖵ뼍陁낹鲵뼍陁 (Secretly, Greatly), and I"m sure I watched a third however I can't remember the name. I slept lightly for about 30 minutes as the plane landed.

Christmas Prep.

Finally got our Christmas tree up last night!
and wrapped some presents today - we're slow going, but we're finally there :)

Our tree is pretty tinsel vomit because we take a very relaxed, throw it on, attitude

Making up for birthdays.

So I'll be away for my little brother's birthday, and we didn't celebrate my mum's birthday because I had a whole week of exams ahead - so Saturday night we went out to celebrate - yay! However, my Dad booked the 5 o' Clock session for Melba at the Langham and we didn't leave the house until 6.. Dad still wanted to go to Langham, claiming the hour we'd have left (session finishes at 7:30) would be enough to eat. 'But definitely not enough to enjoy it!' I said. So being the beloved daughter I convinced everyone to find another restaurant. #truth.

going to try that thing called commitment.

If I can, I'd like to start updating this regularly and so on about my life and thoughts of life and all the crazy shit that happens in the world.
But I'm kind of really bad with commitment and don't exactly have an interesting life. So.
I'll try.

On another note, read back through all my posts - deleted a couple but left the majority even though everything is very cringe worthy and obsessive and ohmygod.
So what I learnt about myself through rereading my old posts?:

Oh hello again.

Hi ^^
I'm finally back after a couple years - because the lovely Xin Gao asked for help with her blog and because I'm obviously so amazing -.- I offered to help.
and oh god. this blog is :/

it makes me eep.

I'm still in love with kpop - though I probably listen to a broader range of music now (where my English music consists of more than just Short Stack, For Our Hero and All Time Low).
I like to think I've matured? looking at the posts about boys on this blog is - argh.
I'm embarrassed about some of the posts here now haha ^^

I don't know what I'm going to be posting here. I've got a tumblr now (pretty much a reblog site though) but since I'm trying to start doing some more personal stuff over there, I'll probably leave the longer posts on here.
All in all, I don't think it will be very interesting.
cheers though.

What should I sign off? ily bub?
I remember starting to think that it was really childish and I definitely think it is now.

faithfully,
MaiEmerald

Update: I'm revamped the blog now so unless you can remember what it used to look like - you won't understand the ickyness of this post.
