ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also referred to as Motor Neurone Disease, is the name given to a group of diseases where the nerve cells controlling the muscles that allow us to move, speak, breath and swallow, undergo degeneration and die.
So really this is - yet again - another Ice Bucket Challenge. As a poor uni student, I don't usually donate money at all (I don't even give money at offerings in church services :/). Instead, I enjoy volunteer work. I will however, be donating this time round, to both MND Australia and to Ebola since Ebola hasn't had much funding from the public though the outbreak has been covered internationally.

If you feel that there is a drug that needs recognition or funding, just go and help out or donate. It's rewarding without the icy feeling. Or just accept your nomination and film the challenge.

faithfully,
Mai
